Hi all,
I was trying to find the physical path of a file which was kept on a Unix
box from a servlet.
I searched through the archives and tried the solutions..
I finally found one which worked , which was using the
ServletContext.getRealPath()
however, I'm wondering why didn't the follwing work?
request.getPathInfo()
request.getPathTranslated()
I get null returned on both instances.
Could someone explain why please?
(I'm using apache and Jserv on a Unix box)
