Pamungkas:

A ram file is nothing but a file which tells the real media player to open
a socket connection on port 554 with the real server and stream the .rm
file to it.

If u just provide an http link to .ram file, your browser will launch the
real media player and rm player does the rest. Hence u do not need java
here.
