Really don't consider a marketing docuement by
Microsoft the 'independent third party' which I requested and would
appreciate if we did not get this kind of nonsense posted :) IMHO, the Sun
comparision is 10
times more objective that the Microsoft link Mr.
Herzog marketing post provided.
What would be USEFUL is an independent eval by a credible
THIRD party (i.e. NOT SUN or MS). Microsoft of Sun
documents not really appreciated (and are spam, IMHO).
A good objective comparision between JSP and ASP is good for upper
management types. Also, providing a pointer
to site are also spam, IMHO. Don't really need to see an implementation.
Need to have an objective cross platform
comparision in a highly scalable, heterogenous environment.
BTW: From what I've read so far, JSP (objectively) beat
ASP in all categories. Perhaps we should write one. :)
