You can add an event handler to your page so that before the page is
unloaded,
your , say, javascript function unloadPage() will be called. This function
can
call your servlet and pass whatever parameter you want.

i dont think you will be able to get that message...because the one
(process) who has to send the message (browser) is being killed.
get me if i am wrong someone.
