Are there any independent benchmarks of servlet engines? I know that
several vendors post benchmarks--I've seen the benchmarks posted
by the Resin folks. They look reasonable to me, but even so I am
always wary of trusting a benchmark provided by one of the participants.
I could work up my own benchmark and test lots of different servlet
engines, but that's a lot of work. I will do that, but I would prefer
to have only a couple of candidates to consider. I'm hoping to find an
independent study that will help me shorten my list.
I am trying to find the fastest platform for WebMacro (www.webmacro.org)
and also looking for stability, support, robustness, etc., so any other
pointers to differences between servlet engines would be appreciated.
