Hi Jim -
Most pager services will allow you to simply send an email to a
specific email address - and that email will be forwarded to the user's
phone. For example, the PennSel pager service will forward any email sent
to [PIN]@pager.pennsel.com to the user's phone. Many other pager services
work the same way with minor variations on PIN length, message length, etc.
Yours,
Tom

Subject: Send a message to a pager device
I would like to know if it's possible to send a page (text and/or phone
number) from a servlet app. I am able to send e-mail from servlet apps
using JavaBeans Activation Framework and JavaMail 1.1.3.
Can someone direct me to some documentation on this ?
Thanks in advance !
