Hi All,
I was wondering how (what syntax/how you call) you use for getValue in your
JSP.
My scenario is this:
Servlet takes parameters from an HTML form, talks to a database, and creates
a bean from the ResultSet.
Various JSPs throughout my app. are then to access this bean. (I am using
session with the servlet and the JSP)
I am having trouble accessing data from all JSPs other than the one
generated in the servlet.
I am little new to this stuff, so should I be forwarding info from the 1st
JSP to subsequent JSPs or something???
1st JSP
******************************************************
<jsp:useBean id="test" class="me.GmfDataBeanooo" scope="session" />
******************************************************
2nd JSP
******************************************************
<jsp:useBean id="test" class="me.GmfDataBeanooo" scope="session" />
<%
me.GmfDataBeanooo gdb = (me.GmfDataBeanooo)session.getValue("test");
%>
******************************************************
Thanks + Regards,
Kate
