I have a servlet which gets an HTTP request and has to answer it immediately
before doing any processing (just acknoledge the receiving of the request).
I am new to servlets, and as i understood there is no way to guarantee the
time of sending a response, and there is also the chance that the response
wont be sent at all before the servlet is terminated, which means all the
processing is terminated (which can take a while).
is there a way of forcing a response sending by the server ? can flash()
help here ?
thanks.
