Hi,

I have the following unusual scenario :

I have to get the pdf content generated by a cgi
program. The architecture is a Servlet(S1) sitting
outside the firewall (in DMZ) has to talk to another
Servlet(S2) sitting inside the firewall. Then S2 has
to talk to the cgi program (inside the firewall) and
get the pdf content and pass it on to S1 which would
ultimately displays the same to the client browser.

I am using URL and HttpURLConnection objects at S1 and
S2 level to fetch the pdf content.

The problem is S1 is able to get the content but when
it is displayed in the browser, the acrobat reader
which comes up is empty (It displays empty pages).
When
I check the file size in the temp directory, it
matches with the actual pdf file size of the cgi
program.

When I check the Content Type in S2, it says it is
"application/pdf" which the cgi program has set it.

Has anyone guess what is happening and why the acrobat
reader is not able to display the content ?

Thanks

Venkat
