Hi All,
I apologise first for the offtopic question posted here. But I would like
to know if someone else in this forum had experienced the same
problem as I am facing it now.
We have a web page spitted out by a servlet which a quite a few
buttons and hrefs. The objective is when the user clicks on any one of
the href/button, we want to stop him from submitting the page again
by clicking on some other href/button. I accomplished this by having
a javascript variable which tells the status of the page like whether
is it ready to accept any requests or waiting for the response from
the servlet.
So, when the user clicks on any href/button the variable PAGE_STATUS
whose initial value is READY is set to WAITING. Now, even when the
user clicks on any of the other href/button I check for this var PAGE_STATUS
value, if it is READY only then I proceed with further action, if not, I
don't
do anything. But I am getting a Socket write Error from the servlet whenever
any href/button is clicked when the PAGE_STATUS var has a value WAITING.
Any help would be of great help.
Thankyou for your time.
bye,
Prasad M
