There's lots of projects that I could do with servlets that the general web developer 
community would find useful. But I can't figure out the best way to package the 
servlet configuration files so that the customer can just drop them in and they will wo
rk. Even the servlet config files are different for each server or operating system. I 
was wondering if there is a "best practice" for commercial servlet config files so non 
servlet programmers can use them easily.
    I'm particularly interested in the customers need to set the database 
name/password, uri of a file on the server etc. I readily need to make this as 
painless and easy as possible and I obviously can't set them before hand.
