Memo from Justin Robertson of PricewaterhouseCoopers

I think that servlets are only available in the enterprise edition and not the
standard edition. If I were you I'd get the JSWDK at this link:
http://java.sun.com/products/servlet/download.html since that gives you JSP too.
You need to tinker around with the environment variables a bit but it's all
pretty straightforward.

Subject: Compiling servlets with JDK 1.2.2
The documentation for Servlet dev kit 2.0 says that it is no longer needed
with Java dev kit 1.2 onwards. However, having installed JDK 1.2.2, I can
compile a 'hello world' class but not a servlet. It reports errors:
Package javax.servlet not found in import
Package javax.servlet.http not found in import.
Is it true that JDK 1.2.2 is sufficient to compile and run servlets, and if
so, do you have any idea of what I may be doing wrong?
