Put your classes under WEB-INF/lib. For example, class Y in package X
should go
in WEB-INF/lib/X.

You'll want to use JRun's admin tool to map the servlet name to the
associated Java
class, of course. Typically, you would invoke your servlet through the URL
which
ends with something like "/YourWebApp/servlet/X".

Thank you Neil... made the change.

I made a simple test by creating a trivial servlet. I created a directory
called "servlets" under d:\Program Files\Allaire\JRun and copied the .class
file there. That worked fine. When trying to do a similar test with the
class belonging to a package, it does not. I tried the following:

- Put the .class in the directory structure matching the package name (for
example company/project/section) and requesting
http://blablabla/servlet/company/project/section/InitialContact

- Put the .class in the root and with the http above

- The other 2 combinations

Would someone know how to do this properly?

Thanks!

Jean

You may find it works if you use C:\Inetpub\Scripts for the scripts
directory. I didn't try the inetsrv directory.
