dear michael,
if u r generating the page using the servlet, then u have to set the mime
type to text/html.
U can do this by setting the content type to text/html.
response.setContentType("text/html"); will do the work.
include this in ur service or do post or doGet function.
And make it sure that u have all the gifs and stylesheeets in their proper
directories.
Because if they are not loaded properly sometimes netscape never loads the
page.
i hope this will help,
regards,
nebu

Subject: Netscape & JavaWebServer 2.0
I develop servlets using Sun's JavaWebServer 2.0 on Win 95.
When I execute the servlets with Internet Explorer 4/5/5.5 there's no
problem; but if I want to test them with Netscape (4.x & 6) only the HTML
source code is shown. Does anybody have the same problem? Is there a
workaround?
Thanks in advance.
Michael Weller
