HI all,
I'am sending this mail again becoz earlier I did not write a subject, so
did not get a reply from anybody.
M yproblem is as follows:-
I was trying to use the JDBC driver = "oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
in
an applet, but it was just not registering itself with theDriverManager,
for reasons I do not know because the program compiles properly and also
does not throw any exceptions. But when I used Servlets to perform the JDBC
connection and call an Applet within it, it worked perfectly well . I used
Serialization to pass parameters and values between Applet and Servlet
Can anybody tell me what the problem could be.
I have the following :
jdk 1.2
jsdk2.0
sun solaris5.7
