I have a servlet which downloads files. After setting the Content-Type Content-Disposition to 'inline; filename=aFileName', when I try to open a file I get an error 'Unable to launch application. Reason=31' the first time I try to open a file. If I try to open the file again it opens OK. This only happens with some of the files - usually msword, powerpoint and excel (i.e. microsoft office applications). I do not get the problem with plain/text or pdf files. This problem does not occur on IE. Is there a solution / work around on Netscape (I'm using 4.7).
