first check if tomcat runs at all. then check if the web.xml file is
accessed, check its property for the conf file and last, check this
one. set the debug level in server.xml to 9 and check the log files.
notice that access to port 8080 isnt the standard port for a get
request, so you need to access
localhost:8080
for a try.
