Yes. But it's *very* slow. That's just the way it is with this many
people. Expect it to be even slower right now (because of people
re-posting stuff all at once due to the black out).

It does work eventually. Just be patient.
There's nothing to stop you subscribing again with a different
address and leaving the old one dormant.
I would recommend setting up a rule on the old address to delete all
incomming SI mail.
