 Short answer: No. (Well, sometimes, but not generally)

 Long answer: This is a frequently asked question,
please check the archives. Try search terms like "ip
address client".

 It's always polite to check the archives first, before
you post your question to the list, since there's a
good chance your question has been asked before.

 If the answers in the archive are incomplete or
confusing, then you'd be doing everyone a favor
