Yaa,
you can use the form based upload method also.
refer to rfc 1867 and rfc 2388 (check this no.)
This basically takes place through multipart/form-data
mime type and you have to parse the data on the server
end to save the files.
by the way, post the method you have used to upload
through ftp.
