They're not "servlets" anymore... They're called Mailets, don't have
anything to do with javax.servlet but follow more or less the same "idea".
The only protocol where I would see it would be something like FTP, RTSP and
PNM (the latter ones are streaming protocols), but I doubt about the others.
When we tried to squeeze SMTP in the javax.servlet space we made up a kinda
of a mess....
