Servlets can cooperate to create content in a process called servlet chaining. In short the process is as follows 1) A client browser sends a request to the first servlet and receives output from the last servlet 2) In between the output from each servlet is piped as input to the next servlet thereby each servlet in the chain has the option to change or extend the content. NB: When a servlet converts one type of content into another the technique is called Filtering. regards Anantha Krishnan ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff SERVLET-INTEREST".
