This is borderline off-topic, but it comes up
fairly often.
List policy (which should have been explained
to you when you joined the list) is that it's
polite to do a quick archive search before
posting a question. (The archives are a big,
searchable database containing every question
and answer ever posted to the list).
If you search the archives using the keywords
"generate pdf", you should get several threads
worth of info. I don't think your exact situation
is described, but there's enough information in
the archives to get you started.
If you find that the answers in the archive
are incomplete, or unclear, it would be a big
help if you'd post a clarification. Your followup
will then go into the archive and be there for the
next person.
