It sounds like a ClassLoader problem. I'd suggest checking
the archives, but they appear to be down again. It's a little
hard to tell without more details, but:
What servlet container are you using? Does it support
Web Apps? If so, are the servlets in the same, or different
Web Apps? Are you 100% sure you're really casting to the
correct class? Check the "support" section of your container
vendor's web site: are there any bugs/warnings about
ClassLoader issues? What, -exactly-, does the ClassCastExpection
say?
