hi,
(i have given the soln for unix)
its simple
1.put ur logic in a java program .
2.use javamail API for mail handling.
3.to schedule to execute this program at specific time, configure cron
command of unix. this will execute the program which will in turn send the
mails to the required receipients.
(for more info on cron, please refer unix books. i forgot the configuration
of cron since i did it long back)
hope u got it.
