A brief scan of the archives will tell you that there is a mechanism
to do this.
Some servers already support it (JServ will do session load balancing
for you) and others are in the process of adding support for it.
I'm currently running a project to develop a session load balancer
that might be used in several servlet engines. If anyone wants to know
