Hi,

Let me specify my problem. As I need to display the real-time data in the
applet, I think I can't use a pull method. The Servlet must send the data
once it have been changed.

Please help.

Regards,
Timmy

Hi :-) I am not sure, I just suggest the following: instead of the
Servlet-pushing,
if you want, perhaps you also can use Applet-pulling. for example, Servlet
updates
some data status, every 10 minutes the Applet goto Servlet to see those
data.
but with this way, perhaps Servlet will be busier.

and I think perhaps URLConnection is easier to use for Applet-Servlet
communication, you can find the sample code in chapter 10 of Jason Hunter's
book, or search Servlet-List with "Applet-Servlet" or "Applet Servlet".
