I couldn't understand what poornima elicited.
first in the first servlet call the method,
HttpServletResponse.sendRedirect("absolute URLto new servlet"). and in the
new servlet for invoking doPost , do this:
....doGet(...request,...response){
doPost(request,response);
}
...doPost(...req,...res){
// server your client..
}
If this is what poornima tried to tell, then ignore this one.

Redirect the first servlet to the second servlet using
sendredirect method. With the second servlet's doGet
method, make a call to doPost method.
