When the signal to noise ratio is out of balance (by the unnecessary
noise) the risk is then many of the "experts" or more experienced
developers spend so much of their time filtering - the truly
appropriate question asked by someone who has truly made an effort to
solve their problem doesn't get a response. And that my friend, is
where the problem lies. It has been requested on numerous occassions
that we keep the signal strong and the noise down.
Furthermore, this list also has a policy that the moderator has posted
a link here:
http://archives.java.sun.com/archives/servlet-interest.html
The archives are loaded with helpful sites - and of course there is
always google (they even have a cool little toobar enhancement for your
browser). This, however, is most certainly not the correct place for
this.
