thanks a lot for your help,
actually it would work, however because of
some stupid reasons it still doesn't work
because i am not independent to make necessary
modifications when needed.
And,i couldn't convince my administrator to give me
access authority on jswdk.
and all the possible combinations of docbase and
mapping didn't work either. (???)
finally i decide to install a java servlet server in
my own directory
my server program is jsdk2.1
when i tried to start it with startserver commad
it gives the following error message
dbs[47] JSDK WebServer Version 2.1
Loaded configuration from
file:/user/staff/wapteam/wap/default.cfg
Can't set up server admin
java.rmi.server.ExportException: Port already in use:
1109; nested exception is:
java.net.BindException: Address already in use
but i never used port number 1109, and i changed the
port number to different numbers in the default.cfg
file
such as 8080, 9090, 1453 . non of them worked .
it kept me giving the same error message
what is the problem with this directory?
can anyone help me ?
i put my jsdk in /user/staff/wapteam/wap/
