Where do you put Servlet class files in order get them recognized?
I try to access them with this URL: http://localhost:8080/servlet/MyServlet
I have succeeded with GET requests if MyServlet is in the
ROOT\WEB-INF\CLASSES
directory, but they always come up not found if I put them anywhere else.
Are there any
more settings I have to set up to have them be found in this location?
As for the POST requests, no matter where I put them, (using a correct
POST
right out of Deitel & Deitel), they are never found.
Also, does anyone know where on http://jakarta.apache.org these
settings are
described?
many thanks!
