I don't see why you need a servlet
for this (not that it matters).
If I were doing this, I'd write xls
transforms to convert your
standard xml input
into a dom that contains only
the nodes expected by a specific
site. Then write a bit of java
that does a url post using the
tag names and values from the dom.
Actually (it hurts me to say this)
you could probably do the whole
thing in javascript in IE6.
