Hi Manish,
The entry edition of VAJ does not have the Websphere Test Environment.
You may have to use a higher edition(like full enterprise or
professional)
to use Websphere Test Environment.

Hope this helps.

Subject: Help with Visual Age for Java

hi,
I have installed Visual Age Enterprise entry edition
3.5, Webshere studio 3.5.
And I need to run the Student Assignments that the
students will be doing in the Servlets and JSP lab.

problem 1:
In the JSP and Servlets redbook its asked that feature

'IBM JSP Execution Monitor 1.1 be' and 'IBM WebSphere
Test Environment 3.02 (for me 3.5) be added. When I
go to the features list I do not find the feature'IBM
JSP Execution'. How do I install the feature..please
let me know.

problem 2:
To set up the Websphere studio 3.5 test environment
the instruction as follows

❑ In the Workbench, find the IBM WebSphere Test
Environment project,and select the com.ibm.servlet
package. Find the SERunner class.
❑ Select Run -> Check Class Path in the context
menu of the SERunner class.
❑ Select the Class Path tab. Click the Edit
button to edit the Project Path.Select the project
ITSO Servlet JSP Redbook. Save this setting by
selecting OK.

However I do not find the SERunner class under this
package. Is there some other way of doing it with
VAJ3.5..???????

Thanks people for any help..

take care
manish
