Hi All, I have this problem on my ICMP ping application placed on the web. My PingICMP class works just fine if tested as an application on local. It sends, for example, 4 packets and 4 replies were recieved for every sent packets. I made a servlet which instantiates this PingICMP class. when my servlet invoke its ping method, some of the replies timed out. Such as one, or two replies timed out while the rest of the sent packets had valid replies. Does anyone knows any explanation why this happens? please tell me any workarounds or what should i do.
