hi everyone,
I have been writing these pages in frontpage which has
link to websphere and VAJ redbbooks in pdf format on a
local server. the webserver is IIS and I am using
frontpage 98 to publish the pages.
The links to the pdf file work under IE and doesnt
under Netscape.most of these file names have blanks in
them.
when cheking the url's i can see that IE puts a %20
for the blanks and so does Netscape but then why cant
netscape access these file urls eg...
file://nt2/IBM Java/Redbooks/Webshphere Example.pdf
I was just wondering whether the problem is with
Netscape or the way Frontpage publishes these
pages..but that shouldnt make any diff..its HTML
anyway..
goodnight everyone..hope to hear from you in the
morning
take care
manish
