Okay I have now tried your suggestion
I sent a dealer object via ObjectOutputStream to a file and read in back in
again and . . . . . it worked fine - Contents of object retrieved.
Now I'm really lost!
ANY suggestions at all will be gratefully received and put to use on Monday (I'm
off climbing for the weekend and it's hot & sunny here in Blighty)
