Hi,
I have been using Apache (http deamon) in INIX environment.
Apache understands unix password formats and hence I get the user authentication
password/login for Apache same as the Unix logins without troubling my users to create
a seperate login
/password.

But now I have W3C's Jigsaw server.I want to know whether it is possibele for the
Jigsaw server to give authentication using the UNIX
passwords. If yes how?Right now passwords(realms) for Jigsaw formats are quite
different from the UNIX.Is there any utility then interfaces the two password formats?

One more doubt:
Right now, I have been creating the user names and passwords for the Jigsaw
Server(realms as they call it) from the admin tool(a GUI interface). Is it possibe to
make
logins/password from the command prompt? Please note I am in UNIX OS.

Thanking you in advance for suggestions and solutions.

JAVA!! HIP HIP HORRAY!!
Regards,
Shuva.//
