Every so often this list seems to get a little flaky and barf up
messages from a few weeks bag. I've kind of grown used to it,
although it hasn't happened (before this recent spurt) in a while).
The other emails you mention are probably from some bad addresses on
the list -- I get those too when I send things to the list. It would
be nice if all those bad addresses were cleaned up, but it isn't
always so easy to do (the address that is bad may not match up with
any subscribed address).
