The problem was by not using the names i used on the web.xml on the html
forms action :
I define on the web.xml a "MainServlet" servlet but on the html form the
action string wasn't "MainServlet" but "gpp.MainServlet"

Are you overriding init(ServletConfig) but not calling
super.init(ServletConfig)?
