This release includes new features for UI-independant business logic
development, new self-test and performance monitoring features, as
well as many enhancements to the ease of use and operation of
Expresso. Expresso includes integration with many other open source
products, and is available as an integrated bundle with Tomcat,
providing a one-step installation process to get up and running

Expresso 3.1 is designed to facilitate development of database-enabled,
highly reliable and scalable MVC web applications. It includes powerful
object-relational mapping, UI-independant business logic modules (called
