I am streaming a pdf document using a servlet. When I am trying to read this document while the servlet is sitting on a unix server using IE 5.0, I am getting a 'File Download' window instead of seeing the actual pdf. When the same servlet is run on a server sitting on Windows NT I don't get the 'File Download' window. Please keep in mind that I am setting the Content Type to 'application/pdf', flusing the stream before and after and setting the content length.
