Not to take anything away from Jason's book (which would be my first
choice), but I think Marty Hall's book (Core Servlets and Java Server
Pages) deserves mention as well.  Also, both books have related web
sites:

The first one is more than just about Jason's book.  And Marty also
has a great Java resource page off his home page:
