hi.. per say it is not possible for you to connect crystal report through Java. atleast not the way you want to connect to crystal report. I faced the same problem when i was working with CR7.0 I used CORBA to connect to CR. you can just have a c++ server which is running and get the servlet to talk to that server. It is better to talk to to CR that way. and easier too. take care. hope it helps. Cheers.

I saw a thread on this at the Crystal Reports website knowledge base.
Seagate (or whomever owns CR now) made CR compatible with both ASP and Java.
