Subject: GZIP, JSP and compressing other files

changing/upgrading). I am using model 2 MVC (ie servlets->JSP).

files that are effectively dynamic. What I mean by this is that I intend for
the file (eg javascript) to be created at startup from shared properties
files. As some of the files can be quite large as well I was thinking that
GZIP compression would be useful here as well. Is this feasible or are there
problems/better ways?
