Given that servlets simply work via http, you'd would call one servlet from
another by redirecting to it. For example, imagine I had a login servlet
which displays a login page. The user clicks the login buton and the page
redirects to a LoginHandler servlet. This servlet checks the posted login
and password details, and then redirects you to your homepage servlet if the
details were correct.
If you are going to be doing allot with servlets, I'd urge you to get the
latest O'Reily Servlet Programming book (make sure its the second edition),
there is a good section on servlet collaboration.
