 Unless you are stuck with it for some reason, you might
want to consider moving to Tomcat. Tomcat is the current
sample implementation. It's no easier to set up, but it's
under active development so it's easier to get help with.

 Sun's official download site is:

 But the real action is at:

  http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/index.html

 Tomcat documentation is notoriously mediocre, but
"Developing Applications with Tomcat" looks like it
might be pretty good, and there's a FAQ. Definitely
enough to get you started.
