Technically any place within the webapps/ROOT/ is ok for html and jsp docs
so you may want to place your html in there rather than the htdocs. Unless
it's an actual doc just for organization. As long as you have your servlet
engine running you should be able to see the servlet. The url should be:
localhost:8080/servlet/HTTPGetServlet
without the .class extension assuming you are using the default parameters.
Also, check your serlvet and tomcat logs to see if there is anything
abnormal in them. If none of this works check the tomcat documentation
because there are a few options to set in the server.xml config file which
will give a more detailed output for the specific mappings it loads.

Hope this helps,
        Matt
