Hi,

This is a mail server configuration issue. As you say "our mail server", you
should just check with the server admin on what basis relaying would be
accepted. SMTP says nothing about this, but nearly all servers are
configured so that spammers won't be able to use them to rely bulk mail.

One way is to reject mail when sender is from another domain, or to accept
mail only from senders in a predefined list of accepted domains (this is
used by hosting providers who manage several domains)

Another technique is to access mail only from clients who made a POP access
in the past 60 secondes (or so).

So, check your mail server configuration.

BTW, there obviously is some easy ways to circumvent these limitations. If
not, mail just could'nt be sent !
