Have the servlet call an entity CMP EJB. If you ever need to change the
database, no problem. If you ever need to change the SQL, just change the
text in the deployment descriptor. Plus the EJB container will handle all
transactions and pooling. Finally, it give you another layer of abstraction
from the business logic and presentation layer.
