 The fact that JSP's get compiled into servlets is
(from the traffic on jsp-interest) not particularly
relevant to many JSP developers. It's an
implementation detail. I'm not saying that's the
right attitude, but that's the way it is. Some
questions overlap, but most don't. It appears that
the separation between servlet-interest and
jsp-interest is useful in practice, so use the right
mailing list, please?
